A pneumatically actuated directional control valve designed for reliable switching of airflow in double-acting systems. Utilizing dual pilot signals, it provides stable bi-stable operation without the need for electrical actuation.
How It Works
- 5 ports:
- P (Pressure/Inlet)
- A & B (Outputs)
- R & S (Exhausts)
- 2 positions (bi-stable):
- Pilot signal at port X → P connected to A, B exhausts
- Pilot signal at port Y → P connected to B, A exhausts
- Double pilot operation
- Valve remains in last position until opposite pilot signal is applied
- No spring return → memory function
