A 3-way 2-position solenoid valve is an electromechanical device used to control the flow of fluids or gases. It has three ports for fluid/gas inlet, outlet, and exhaust, and two distinct positions: open and closed.
When activated by an electrical signal, the valve's solenoid coil shifts a plunger or spool to redirect the flow path, allowing the fluid or gas to either flow from the inlet to the outlet or blocking the flow entirely.
This type of valve is commonly used in various applications such as pneumatic and hydraulic systems, irrigation, and industrial automation.
